Organisations providing mental health information in translation

Introduction

As part of Mind's continuing commitment to make its services more accessible, culturally sensitive and relevant to Black and minority ethnic communities, an exchange of information on mental health issues in translation, with other organisations has continuously taken place.

The following resource list is in no way exhaustive, nor does not it make any recommendations concerning the quality of the translations or written material.  Its purpose is to hopefully provide some useful contacts for people wanting to obtain information about mental health in languages other than English.

If you are aware of any literature that has been omitted, please write to the Information Unit at the address below with the details.

Note on language
The terminology of psychiatric diagnosis used in this resource list reflects the language of sources referred to. The use of such language in no way implies Mind's unqualified acceptance of it.
