Mind for better mental health

How you can help us

Student fundraising

  • Do you believe that the stigma surrounding mental ill health should be stopped and support given to those that need it?
  • Do you think that measures should be put in place to help prevent mental ill health in the first place?
  • Would you like to work actively to promote mental wellbeing by fundraising for Mind?

If so our dedicated Raise and Give (RAG) team would like to hear from you.

As many of us know, student life can be a very exciting experience. However, it can also be a very pressurised and stressful time in our lives. There are a range of practical and emotional issues that people may find themselves dealing with for the first time; finding accommodation, managing finances, choosing the right course, fitting in or feeling isolated. Many people find that these issues become more deep rooted and can result in mental health problems.

This is why we believe Mind is both an important and relevant cause for you to support during RAG week. There are many exciting opportunities for students to get involved with Mind.

  • Raise over £15,000 and your top fundraiser can join us on one of our exciting overseas trips.
  • Creative fundraising - providing as little or as much help as you want.
  • The chance to get involved in our campaigning work which is crucial in achieving change.
  • Access to our award winning booklets and information dealing with mental health issues.

Produced by Mind Publications, these award-winning booklets deal with issues about students and mental health and can be read online, printed in plain text format for individual use and purchased from the online shop.
