About the challenge

The Berlin Marathon gives you the chance to run on a world record breaking course – it’s fast and flat. The run takes in the major attractions of this fantastic city including the Charlottenburg Castle and the grand historical architecture that line the streets of Berlin.

From the thousands of supporters and bands lining the route to the bananas and tea at each drink station I enjoyed every minute. Finishing under the Brandenburg Gate I felt such a sense of achievement – an amazing place to run my first marathon’. Connie Potter, Mind Events Manager.

Our support

Whether you have your own place or would like a Mind guaranteed place we will be with you every step of the way. We offer all our runners a fantastic support package including:

• loads of training and fundraising advice
• regular email updates
• a vest with your name overprinted
• a dedicated and experienced project manager to provide support and advice.

We will do all that we can to ensure that your Berlin Marathon experience is one you will never forget.

Gaining a place

There are two ways in which you can join the Mind team:

1. Each year Mind have a number of guaranteed places in the event and if you would like to run on one of these we ask that you pay a registration fee of £75 and raise a minimum sponsorship of £1200. Please note that this is an entry only package and does not include flights or accommodation.

2. If you were lucky enough to gain your own place from the event organisers we would love you to be a part of our team too. We do not set you a minimum sponsorship target but ask you raise what you can.
