Mind journalism awards

The Mind Journalist of the Year and Student Journalist of the Year awards promote and reward excellence in presenting positive images of mental health, challenging stigma and discrimination, and contributing to public understanding of mental distress. They are among several awards presented at the Mind Awards during Mind Week.

2008 Information

The 2008 Mind Journalist of the Year is Mary O'Hara of Society Guardian.

The 2008 Mind Student Journalist of the Year is Huw Davies of Gair Rhydd.

The 2007 Journalist of the Year and Student Journalist of the Year awards were presented to Derek Draper and Dr Cecilia d'Felice for their work in Psychologies, and to Helen Thompson of Gair Rhydd.
