Black and Minority Ethnic mental health in Wales

Mind Cymru is opposed to the stigma and discrimination frequently associated with mental distress of any kind. In all its activities, Mind Cymru stresses the particular needs of users of psychiatric services and is mindful of the particular discrimination that can be experienced by users of services who are Black or of an ethnic minority.

Diverse Minds is a network of Black and Minority Ethnic people in England and Wales. At least one Diverse Minds member from Wales is required to sit on Mind Cymru's governance committee (Pwyllgor).
