Mind Cymru governance

Mind Cymru has a new governance structure called Pwyllgor Cymru which had its first meeting in October 2006. 

The membership of Pwyllgor Cymru is shown below:

• Total of 12 members from Mind's networks in Wales with approximately 50 per cent of these members from LMAs
• Two Trustees (one of which is a Wales based Trustee) – appointed by Council of Management
• Director, Mind Cymru
• Chief Executive or nominated person
• Chair

Members have the responsibility for the running and finances of Mind Cymru. 

Terms of Office

All Members from Minds Networks in Wales were elected for the first time in 2006. The terms of office will be for three years, but in the first instance half of the members from Minds Networks will stand down at two years (through selection by ballot) and the remaining half will stand down at the end of three years. Members who stand down at the end of their term of office will be eligible to re-stand.
