People with experience of mental distress inform all that we do at Mind Cymru. We value diversity and ensure inclusion is at the heart of our work.
Mind’s work in Wales is managed and carried out by Mind Cymru. We have offices in Cardiff and staff based in Mid, North and South Wales.
Local Mind associations provide essential direct services within local communities. Mind Cymru offers support and advice to local Mind associations on issues such as funding, quality standards, good practice and organisational effectiveness.
Since 1973 Mind Cymru has established itself as an influential commentator on, and partner in the development of mental health and community care policy in Wales, working closely with the Welsh Assembly Government and National Assembly for Wales, other voluntary and statutory agencies and the Policy, Legal and Parliamentary Units of Mind.
Mind Cymru organises a number of key events throughout the year including an annual conference, stands at the National Eisteddfod and Royal Welsh Show as well as addressing the importance of rural issues and mental health throughout Wales.
